Penned Thoughts

Sometimes I’ll just be sitting around in front of my Mac, doing my writing and coding and just generally minding my own business, and then some fancy something on the Internet will catch my eye, whether it be on Twitter or among my RSS feeds, and I’ll click it. And then, before you know it, I’ll have wasted an hour reading completely inane stuff that adds no value whatsoever to my life (pointless discussions on forums are particularly common). Suddenly it hits me that I’m wasting my time and I go, “D’oh, I cannot believe I’m wasting my time doing this. Gotta get back to work.” Ah, the wily ways of the Internet!
