Conversation about Windows on a Mac
Some idiot: I just bought a PC for 1.78 lacs. It has this awesome graphics card and that awesome CPU and…
I: Wait! You bought a PC for that amount? Why didn’t you just buy a Mac?
Idiot: Macs cannot run softwares.
I: You are a multimedia student. What could you possibly want to run that a Mac doesn’t?
Idiot: 3D Max.
I: a) It’s 3ds Max; and b) You can run it on a Mac. In fact, there is no application in the world that runs on a PC but not on a Mac.
Idiot: Oh, yeah? How?
I: Install Windows on it.
Idiot: Windows running on a Mac is just not the same as it running on a PC.
I: “Oh, yeah? How?”
Idiot: Umm…ah…it…Boot Camp…it’s just not, OK?
I: Good point. That excellent argument notwithstanding though, Macs can run Windows just as well as PCs can, if not better. In any case, you do not need to use 3ds Max. You can always use Maya or any of the myriad other 3D applications available for Mac OS X.
Idiot: …
I: Again, that’s an excellent point. You are on fire today!

ngmoco's slippery slope: Eliminate and TouchPets
matthewrex: TouchPets, essentially a pet-simulator akin to things like Nintendogs or Petz, also has these in-game purchase options. Except this isn’t for anything like vanity items, toys, clothes, or other needless things for your pet, it’s for FOOD. That’s right, any of the virtual currency you earn in TouchPets can only be used to buy clothing and toys for your newly adopted puppy. If you want...
